Right — have been messing about with this thing for about five months now and it's stuck on my phone, so figured I'd write something up since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am UK based, generally do football and horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.
What got me on it was actually embarrassing — I never could work out what an each way payout actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I'd just guess and then be surprised. Now I stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator is the one I'm on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and you get the return straight away, either odds format. There's also the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles maths, a lucky 15, yankees, which is where I'd always got it wrong. The thing that actually made a difference is the geekier tools. There's an probability thing and it makes obvious how much the bookie's taking, and there's the kelly tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit when I'm spreading across selections.
Couple of gripes. Its layout looks a bit basic — zero frills, it's clearly function over form. On my phone it works although the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. There's no proper app, it's a website and that's it — slight shame just flagging it.
Anyway. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, works. If you even now does the maths on paper, give it a go — it's saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
